ROWANTREE HOUSE

Rowantree House is managed by Protea Care Homes. The service users catered for have Learning Difficulties and/or Mental Health needs.

The service has staff who can provide cover 24 hours 7 days a week depending on the needs of the service users. The Manager ensures the smooth running of the project and supervises the team to ensure that the service users' needs are met both in the community and within the home.

We support service users with:

  • Maintaining family and social links
  • Finance and budgeting
  • Communication needs
  • Emotional support
  • Liaising with professional bodies and mediation
  • Mobility Issues
  • Faith needs
  • Dietary needs and meal planning

AIMS

Rowantree House is committed to providing outstanding quality of care in partnership with our service users, their carers', representatives,the local authority, other professionals and commissioners. The aim of our service is to enable each person to live as independently as possible and make them feel at home at Rowantree House.

OBJECTIVES
  • To protect service users from abuse and avoidable harm
  • To deliver a high quality service that promotes and improves quality of life by involving them in decision making
  • To devise a support plan that is tailored to the needs and aspirations of each service user.
  • To respect the service user's right to individuality, independence, privacy and dignity
  • To uphold the service user's right to make informed choices and to take risks
  • To ensure that each service user's needs and values are respected in matters of religion, culture, race, ethnicity, political views, sexuality and disability or impairment
  • To ensure that our services are managed and developed in accordance with the service users wishes and preferences, in the least restrictive manner
  • To work in partnership with service users, carers' and all relevant agencies
  • To ensure that all staff are competent, responsible and trained to undertake the activities which they are employed
  • To comply with all relevant statutory requirements for the provision of care services
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
At Rowantree House you will enjoy, a comfortable warm and welcoming home, which has a beautiful garden, kitchen dinner, lounge and individual bedrooms which you can personalise. Your visitors will have the benefit of off street parking. The house is located in a quiet area which is well serviced with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is close to amenities, local shop, library, places of worship and restaurants. There is also a very efficient bus route which connects you to Edmonton Green shopping centre and Enfield town Centre which are all within 10-15 minutes bus ride. 
We are committed to making sure that service users' needs are met. We have policies and procedures which cover every aspect of day to day life, the support we provide and our scope of responsibility
